Jefferson County Public Schools

Shining a Light on Inner City Schools

BACKGROUND

ON A MISSION TO INSPIRE

When Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) had the opportunity to host The Council of the Great City Schools (CGCS) annual conference, they needed a brand identity that would inspire its member school districts to help students in big-city schools reach their full potential—while positioning Louisville in the best possible light.

76 of the nation’s largest urban schools at one epic event uniting people from across the country, all dedicated to improving educational outcomes for inner city children.

SPREADING THE LOUISVILLE LOVE

When it comes to transforming urban education, all eyes are on JCPS. To ensure this event made a lasting impression, we worked closely with the district to develop fresh visuals that complement their vision, culture and innovative educational initiatives.

Clean, vibrant and inviting—our goal was to welcome school trailblazers nationwide to feel the excitement and energy of Louisville.
